We engage with all kinds of businesses and stakeholders in the energy sector. They range from large, vertically integrated energy companies such as E.ON that operate as generators, suppliers and agents to small suppliers and single single-site wind farms, and from distribution businesses to National Grid. We also have key relationships with DECC and Ofgem.
We spend time building a two-way relationship with our customers. It’s essential that we get to know each other and understand each other’s drivers. And we’re always communicating. On any given day, we could be talking to our customers about training, making sure they know what they need to about industry changes or working with them to improve performance.
We understand that every customer relationship faces challenges, but our strong relationships from operational to board level mean we’re able to have those difficult conversations that can help our customers improve their businesses.
We engage with organisations from across the energy industry and beyond, and we’ve included just a few in this diagram. We’re unique in having the right relationships to get our industry discussing the issues facing them. We’re constantly talking to suppliers, generators, distributors, regulators and other code administrators, plus National Grid, our service providers and industry service providers. Because we’re here to help make our industry better.
